Religion is a delusion, plain and simple. If someone believes there’s a monster in their closet magically granting their wishes, you would consider them crazy. Replace the monster in the closet with an invisible man in the sky, and suddenly their belief is accepted, and alarmingly, even held by the majority. There is no evidence for god(s), souls, or an afterlife at all, so believing in such things is crazy. Politics should definitely not be based on such irrational beliefs.

Hundreds of government, military and intelligence professionals have testified to their direct, first hand experience with UFOs, ETs, and ET technology. The cover-up that keeps this information secret has been ongoing since at least since the 1950’s. Open and participatory democracy requires the we know the truth so that we can make informed decisions. If there is advanced knowledge or technology we deserve to know the truth so that we may integrate that knowledge into our lives.

Under the recently passed Obamacare bill the IRS will hire 16,500 new agents to enforce your purchase of health insurance. If this is not proof of the use of the Federal Income Tax as a tool to reward those following the party line and punish those who dare do question the party line. We need to take this powerful tool away from the corrupt politicians, and return control to the people, now!

Abolish the death penalty
First, the average serious criminal (20+ years in prison) costs the United sates 347,000 dollars to upkeep. This is money that comes out of YOUR pocket to pay for these criminals. Most of these criminals will harm again, on average a murderer will murder again 80% of the time (Of what we have seen, most murders go unsolved). Thus, letting a serious criminal go will most likely cost the life of an innocent. Therefore, we will kill the guilty murderer so that innocent people may live.

Firstly, we are talking about funding not control, the fed. is not going to take over education, its just funding that will increase the quality of the all ready slacking school systems of America. Firstly, investing in sciences brought the United States to its peak (seen in 1950’s to even the 1990’s). And why not put the funding where we know it will make a difference. America itself is economically suffering because the lack of exports, lack of innovations that generate revenue. Money for sci!

“fair tax” would only tax the money you buy things with, middle income earners (<200k/yr) who spend nearly all their money to maintain their standard of living, would pay taxes on nearly all their income. while high income earners would pay less taxes then they currently do (currently 35% on income + sales tax on consumption) and they wouldn’t be taxed on most of their business transactions (where they keep most of their money) allowing the rich to become richer, faster, from these transactions.

The original intent of lifetime appointment for supreme court justices was to create an experienced court above the influence of popular whim. Today however, Justices are serving and Americans are living longer than ever expected by the authors of the Constitution. Judges continue to serve while frail and sickly, and the number of cases taken up by the court per year is in decline. Because of the increase in tenure, today’s Justices are out of touch with popular will & ineffective as arbiters.
