Obama Administration endorses
Find, Disrupt, and Destroy Al Qaeda

Talking points helpful to endorsers

This group declared war against us, therefore they need to be hunted, hindered, and removed from the food chain. Not just to the point of irrelevance, but to the point of unconditional surrender.

There are too many of these priorities that are too obvious (or vague) to disagree with. Prediction: Over 95% of the users will endorse this.

Those that oppose will do so because of a technicality:
—Who really is Al Qaeda?
—What about other groups?
—Why destroy, why not rehabilitate?
—Why not skip the disrupting and go straight for the destroying?

99% of the US wants to find a punish the terrorists responsible for 9/11. Far fewer Americans want to get tangled up in a deadly & expensive 10 year nation-building exercise in Afghanistan/Pakistan.

I support catching/killing Bin Laden and his senior lieutenants (of course), but I think it’s counter productive to try to eliminate every ‘potential Al Qaeda member’ from the globe. You’ll unavoidably get collateral damage, kill civilians, and inadvertently recruit more terrorists.

Talking points helpful to opposers

We will never catch ’em all. I propose we analyze our security processes and simplify things so that it is very difficult for any evil entity to get away with doing anything on our soil.

White House 2 is a multi-partisan network of 10557 citizens imagining how the White House might work if it was run completely democratically by thousands of people over the internet. It's free and all U.S. citizens can join.

We're setting priorities, collaborating on policy, and creating a massive database of 2867 talking points covering all sides of every important issue facing our country. Watch the video intro.

Getting involved is easy and fun. Just join and start setting your priorities, like a todo list. The more people who endorse a priority, the higher it rises in the charts. The more people who join the network, the more clout we will have with the President and the media.
