Obama can be shown – in no uncertain terms – to be ‘an intentional liar’. Let’s start with his attack on Clinton during the primaries on the funding of her campaign, partnered with his own egregious lying about ‘not taking a dime’ from Health lobbies. The facts are startling – he wasn’t just getting money, by the time it was all over he had received close to 3X the runner-up in that tally. I think ultimately Obama got something like $20 million – this, while my ‘lilberal, progressive’ friends were shining with hope, believing every word Obama uttered.
His team has already been to court numerous times – the documentation is growing exponentially – to safeguard some key measures of the Bush Doctrine, like ‘signing statements’. He directly opposed justice for Binyam Mohamed, and his administration did everything it could to not only silence the truth about the Bush Administrations actions in this and most of the other torture cases – but in fact have been shown to support key parts of these terrifying realities, for themselves. This is on top of the new ‘surge’ in Afghan, the subversion of a democracy we supposedly fought to put in place in Afghan, and the new money being pumped into mercenary forces by this administration. This Presidency is rightfully being Branded as “operation re-branding.”
